About Launch

People often ask, “What is Launch?” or “What is it you actually do?”

To put it simply: I’m a body mechanic. Just like you'd take your car to a mechanic for a service, people come to me when something in their body isn’t working right.

I’ve spent the past 7 years working in human movement and body mechanics, starting with a degree in Human Movement and Exercise Sport Science. I began as a conventional personal trainer, but as my passion grew and my hands-on skills evolved, I developed a hybrid approach that blends manual therapy with exercise.

My style draws from kinesiology, neurology, osteopathy, effective movement methodologies, and advanced assessment tools. It’s not just treatment—it’s a full-body reset.

    Thorough assessment and hands-on therapy, combined with targeted, functional training systems.

    We start by identifying what’s limiting your performance — physically, mentally, or emotionally, because your history impacts your nervous system, movement patterns, and motor control.

    How we assess:

    • SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment): A series of 7 key movements to assess motion across all planes.

    • Perturbation Testing: A gentle but powerful way to see how your body responds to challenge.

    • Palpation: Hands-on tissue assessment to feel for imbalances.

    • MMT (Manual Muscle Testing): Uses kinesiology to uncover compensation patterns and true muscular weaknesses.

    With these tools, we can create a plan to retrain movement, rebuild motor control, and restore full-body function.

    Training methods we use:

    • DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation)

    • DVRT (Dynamic Variable Resistance Training)

    • Kettlebell Training

    We believe true performance comes from integration. Our training systems are built around the 5 primary kinetic chains — when these work in harmony, movement becomes stronger, more fluent, and more resilient.

    At Launch, we believe that true movement health means more than just being flexible, it’s about controlling that movement through a full range of motion. That’s the key difference between mobility and flexibility.

    Just watch a child play, they squat, bend, roll, and bounce back up effortlessly. That kind of mobility leads to resilience. Many adults look on in awe (or horror), thinking, I used to move like that... what happened?

    The truth is, you can move like that again.

    But years of poor posture, repetitive strain, and imbalances reshape the body into dysfunction.

    The secret? Stability.

    Just like a building needs a solid foundation, every joint needs both stabiliser muscles and movers. Without stability, your nervous system doesn’t trust the movement — so it restricts it.

    At Launch, we use methods like Neurokinetic Therapy, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS), and DVRT to help restore both mobility and control by:

    • Re-training lost motor control patterns

    • Improving breathing mechanics

    • Identifying and correcting strength imbalances

    • Building strength through full ranges of motion

    By improving these fundamentals, we help you move better, feel stronger, and unlock the freedom your body was built for.

    Not every session at Launch is about movement patterns or performance. Sometimes it’s about learning how your body and mind work, and how to support them both.

    We believe no system functions in isolation. Pain is rarely just about one part of the body. By looking beyond symptoms and understanding the body as an interconnected web, we help clients reach deeper, lasting results.

    At Launch, we support your wellness through:

    • Lymphatic work: This often-overlooked system plays a big role in recovery, immunity, and overall wellbeing. Through manual therapy and targeted movement, we help it work better.

    • Breathwork: Techniques like Buteyko, Oxygen Advantage, and DNS reconnect you to proper breathing. Breathing well impacts everything from blood chemistry to inflammation, pain, energy, and mood.

    • Visceral massage: Gentle manipulation of organs and tissues can ease chronic pain and support digestion.

    • Relaxation & meditation: In a fast-paced world, learning to switch off is vital. These practices help calm the nervous system and reset.

    • Cranial treatment: Subtle adjustments to the skull bones can relieve local issues (like headaches and TMJ) and even help with full-body imbalances like scoliosis.
